UC Santa Barbara's beautiful ocean backdrop and the largest gathering of IT professionals across the UC are too good to pass up! For the amateur (or professional) photographers, UCTech 2019 featured a photography contest. The theme was to "unleash our ingenuity," after all!
A panel of judges from the UCTech 2019 Planning Committee selected three winning photographs. The best photos featured the UCSB campus as well as encompass the spirit of UCTech 2019: "IT Uncorked - Unleashing the Potential of Our Ingenuity."
The third-place winner received a $50 Visa gift, second place received a $100 Visa gift card, and first place won a Theta V 360-degree camera from Ricoh, which also sponsored the contest. All attendees had to do to enter was post their photo(s) to a public Instagram account and use the hashtag #UCTech2019 photo.
